Lesson 3
g:Drawing and colouring the face
These are some of my favorite products to use
1:Now we are ready to draw the face
2: Using brown pen draw in the nose. Take note of where in the face it is.
3; Now draw the eyes as shown
4: Now the mouth
5: It is a good time now to draw in the Iris
6:Take your back pen now and draw in the pupils
7: Use the green Gel pen to colour the Iris on both eyes
8:I use a purple Gel pen to colour the lips now
9:Shade the cheeks with a fair amount of Red Berol Pencil. Use the side of your pencil for the shading.
10:This may look bright at first but once the rest of the colour is on you may have to redo it as it will pale a lot. 
11: Using your black pen  go over the eyeliner and edges of the eyes
12:Using the brown pen feather in the eyebrows now.
13:Using the white Berol pencil hightlight just under the eyebrows and down the edge of the nose.
14:Using the mauve Berol Pencil colour all of the top eyelids.
15: Using the dark purple pencil colour the crease line and blend it well then colour under both eyes as shown in the photo.
16: OPen your white acrylic paint and get your paintbrush and some water.
17: Carefully paint white all around the Iris in both eyes. Don't worry too much if you go over some of the black as we will fix that up later.
18: Paint a white highlight at 11 oclock in each pupil
19; Paint a little whoite in the center of the bottom lip then Let the paint dry really well now..go have a choccie bikki..while you wait.....thats Ozzie for chocolate biscuit LOL
20: Using your black pen , give your doll a beauty spot!
21: Using the black pen go over her eyeliner and outline all around her eyes again.
22: Draw on some real lush eylashes top and bottom
23: Great the face painting is all finished now. I am sure you did a wonderful job :-)
h: Finishing
1:Now it is time to use your own creativity to decorate your angel and paint the face, add hair, turban or whatever you decide to use.
2:We will be brainstorming on the FabricMagic List with ideas on what we could do..so please take part and share your ideas with us.
3:Some Ideas are : Stamping, Painting, Felting, Beading, Using Threads, Dying, Lace, Ribbon Roses, Sequins, Glitter, Dimensional Paint etc etc etc.
1: When you have finished decorating your angel it is time to attach the head to the body.
Start by snipping a small slash in the lower back of the head as shown in the photo.
2: This is how big the slash should be and where it should be in relation to the top of the head
3: Using your haemostats push the neck if the body into the slash in the head then pin it in place. Next hand sew it in place. You can also dab on a little fray check if you are afraid it will fray.
4: Hand sew the decorated wings onto the Angels back with the slash next to the body of the Angel so it isn't easy to see on the back of your Angel
5:Sew a curtain ring onto the head if you want her to be a Xmas Tree Ornament and a brooch pin to the middle of her wings if you want to wear her as a pin.
6:Add a tag to Angels Arm which has your Full Name, Snail Mail address, email address and a note from you to the recipient please. This is MOST IMPORTANT
7: You need to make 3 complete Angels for the swap please..that way you will be assured of getting 3 back. They can all be decorated and embellished differently or the same whatever you chose.
